I ended up going to the late show of Churchill: The Hollywood Years at midnight last night. The cinema was really quite, only me and my friend watching – nice having a private screening!

The film plays on the issue that Americans played such a major part in World War II, when in fact they probably didn’t. This is done by casting Christian Slater as Winston Churchill, an all action American hero who saves Britain, defeats the Nazis and wins the heart of Princess Elizabeth who he than marries.

A nice idea, but even with Vic & Bob, Rik Mayall, Harry Enfield and other British comedians does not work.

The film was very disappointing, the trailer made it look so much better than it actually was. Even if you like the British comedians who star in the film I wouldn’t recommend going to see this movie and I don’t say that very often.

Anyway moving on, Super Leeds United are in action against the crisp eating Leicester City. Both teams have arguably under achieved this season so it’ll be an interesting game.

I really don’t know what to expect from Leeds week to week. One week they are beating high flying QPR 6-1 and then losing to a team without a win all season. I have a bad feeling about today so am going for a 2-0 win to Leicester. :o(

Also in action today is my local team Bath City. They are playing Peterborough United in the FA Cup. If Bath win they could potentially play a Premiership side (or Leeds) in the 3rd round of the cup. I would love it if Leeds got them, so good luck to Bath as well.

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
