Well as expected it was another dismal performance from Leeds United yesterday. The 2-0 defeat against Leicester now leaves Leeds just five points above the relegation zone.

The frustrating aspect about Leeds is that the team should be doing a lot better. While the players have to take a large part of the blame, some of it must be given to manager Kevin Blackwell. I’ve been fully behind him until this weekend, but now I think it is time for a change.

Blackwell doesn’t seem to know how to improve the performance and when asked what went wrong makes up pathetic excuses and blames luck. In football you make your own luck and besides which Leeds have been lucky. A 6-1 win over QPR the other week as well as remarkably fast recoveries from both Brian Deane and Clark Carlisle.

I’ve uploaded Blackwell’s latest post-match interview here, to me he doesn’t seem to have a clue!

Sticking with Leeds United, the always eagerly awaited FA Cup 3rd Round draw was made this afternoon. With so many non-league clubs still in the competition, I was hoping for an easy tie.

Sadly Leeds got Premiership side Birmingham City away. It could have been a lot worse, Birmingham are struggling this season so a win won’t be impossible. Hinckley United or Exeter would have been better though!

Today I was also doing a bit of site building for Sparkster.net. Long time visitors will remember when I was making updates throughout the summer covering such topics as Euro 2004 and Big Brother 5. These were made on an old site layout and once this new design was created were taken offline. The content has now been added to the Blog Archives into the new site design so you can relive those summer blogs.

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
