It’s been freezing in Bath all day, easily the coldest day of the winter. Yet again there is nothing to show for it though – 2 feet of snow would be nice! In this kind of temperature you really need to leave the heating on all day – I didn’t do this and the house is taking forever to heat up.

That’s enough about the weather; you know a blog site is running low on material when it starts mentioning that!

I’m currently watching the tsunami charity football game on ITV2 featuring a Europe First 11 Vs Rest of the World First 11. Here, the best players from around the world play a friendly benefit match in aid of the Asian tsunami victims.

Being a friendly it is a very slow game (even though the score is currently 6-3!) but it is still good watching the world’s greatest football talent playing against each other.

What’s more, Leeds United’s very own Lucas Radabe is playing! It’s great to see Lucas playing, he has been out of the Leeds team for so long with injury and it looks like he is finally making a come back.

Lucas Radabe. Leeds legend. Looks crap in red though!

According to the commentators, most of the major English clubs were asked if they would allow their players to take part in this match. Selfishly both Man Utd and Chelsea have not allowed any of their squad to take part. This is a disgrace, especially as they are two of the largest and richest clubs in the world. It would be nice and right to see both of them making a hefty donation to the appeal.

Arsenal didn’t do much better, they only allowed Thierry Henry to take part and with their manager Arsene Wenger also taking charge of Henry’s team, the Arsenal striker’s time on the pitch was kept to a minimum.

To me, this game is a warm up to The Champions League games next week. There are some mouth-watering games coming up – Chelsea v Barcelona, Man Utd v AC Milan, Arsenal v Bayern Munich and Liverpool v Bayer Leverkusen.

While I’d like to see Arsenal progress well, I’m going to be a right git and hope all the other three English teams fall out! They’re all bitter rivals of Leeds after all! Man Utd and Liverpool would wish the same upon Leeds and Chelsea have only got where they are by spending somebody else’s money. I’m so bitter! :o)

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
