Leeds have been doing very well lately and Sheffield United, who they are chasing are slipping from the automatic promotion spot of 2nd place. There is a lot of excitement around Leeds fans hoping to get promoted automatically and avoiding the play offs. Can it be done, is it possible and should Leeds be more worried about little old Watford than local rivals Sheffield United?

I have got the old calculator out and looked at the results for Leeds, Sheffield United and Watford for 2006 to work out their current form and predict who will get that precious spot and promoted to the land of milk and honey – The Premiership.

2006 Stats

Leeds United
Played: 10
Won: 6
Drew: 3
Lost: 1
Points: 21
Average Points Per Game: 2.1

Sheffield United
Played: 10
Won: 4
Drew: 4
Lost: 2
Points: 16
Average Points Per Game: 1.6

Watford
Played: 10
Won: 8
Drew: 1
Lost: 1
Points: 25
Average Points Per Game: 2.5

Games Remaining
Leeds: 12
Sheffield United: 11
Watford: 11

Total Points at the end of the season based upon current tally and 2006 form
Leeds: 94.2 (currently on 69)
Sheffield United: 92.6 (currently on 75)
Watford: 95.5 (currently on 68)

Therefore based on current form WATFORD will be going up! Still, these are only predictions and football is always full of surprises, anything could happen. The three teams are so close together points wise, Leeds are closer to Watford so fingers crossed The Mighty Whites can get 2nd spot!

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
