Spain 0-0 Italy (4-2 pens)

Sorry, Mario! I cursed your country and now you’re out.

Looks like I’ll be turning my allegiances to Spain for the rest of the tournament – I could never support the Germans or Turks.

Went to Homebase today. For some strange reason, all the staff were dressed up as pirates. Not the kind who sell dodgy DVDs – the ones who have parrots on their shoulders. Either they were having some fancy dress party, or the store had been hijacked by real pirates.

The 10% off promotion got one little pirate very confused; as I ended up being undercharged (by a massive 30p) and getting some freebies. Not a bad day’s work on the open seas of Green Park.

Croatia get knocked out of Euro 2008 by Turkey – a defeat somewhat controversial and ending in a terrible penalty shootout for the Croats.

This scenario could so easily have happened to… you’ve guessed it, England; missing from this tournament due to, ironically, being knocked out in qualifying by Croatia.

How many times have we seen this before?

Awww – Did-ums! You have to shed a tear for poor, little Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sad, upset, devastated… words cannot describe how I feel about Portugal’s defeat tonight. Hang on a minute – I’ve found a word – ‘hilarious’ :o)

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
