Regular readers of my blog will know all about my feelings towards Team Bath, their management, players and tax-funded setup. Therefore, I won’t bore you all with that again.

Before last night’s game, both teams had met 8 times, Team Bath winning none of them.

Last night. 90+ minutes gone. Team Bath winning 1-0 and on the verge on securing their first ever victory over City. Then it all changed…

Bath City’s striker, Dave Gilroy charges towards the Team Bath keeper, dancing majestically around him, and prepares to score, before being pulled down by the goalie.

The Team Bath keeper is sent off and City are awarded a penalty, which Gilroy duly converts. 1-1. Extra time beckons, but TB are forced to play with 10 men and an outfield player in goal.

The additional 30 minutes were great fun. There where cheers of “Olay” as City strung dozens of passes together. With a rookie in goal, the experienced City players toyed with their opposition, like a cat with a mouse, waiting to make the kill.

Then, as a result of a corner, the killer goal came. City had won 2-1. Team Bath had failed, yet again, to beat Bath City. The City management, players and fans celebrated. The Team Bath management and players (without fans) stormed off.

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
