Tomorrow morning, I go Braintree in Essex to watch Bath City.

While I love watching City and going to away games, I am not fully looking forward to this fixture.

Firstly, we leave VERY early. The coach departs Bath at 9.45am. It’s a Saturday morning – I should be in bed at that time; not waiting in a cold, wet car park in Twerton.

Also, Bath City have had a poor record against Essex-based teams of late; although hopefully the game against Chelmsford has changed this jinx. The match against Braintree last season was horrible. It rained heavily and we lost 2-0. The highlight of the day was eating a burger, which was probably dog meat.

Finally, I don’t like Essex as a county very much. It just seems a strange place to live and the locals are weird. A tad hypocritical, I know, seeing as I grew up and live in Somerset.

Still, if City win, it’ll be a great day out. If we lose, it’ll be yet another reason to hate the east of England.

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
