I would like to make it clear that tonight was the first and only time I supported ‘The Germans’ in a football game… OK, I may have given them a little cheer last week when, like tonight, they played Manchester United; but after their fabulous victory this evening, that’s it… no more… I already feel a tad sick and dirty for my actions anyway – especially in a World Cup year.

I am now faced with a new dilemma… the semi final – Bayern Munich v Lyon – Germany v France. If ever there was a game where both teams could lose…

Whatever the outcome, I am sure both teams will not resort to stereotypical racism and hilarious hypocrisy like Alex Ferguson. The man’s a comical genius… someone should get him knighted or something.

“There is no doubt about it,” Ferguson told ITV when asked if the dismissal had changed the course of the game. “They were never getting through that tie, with 11 men we had no problem. The young boy showed a bit of inexperience, but they got him sent off, everyone sprinted towards the referee – typical Germans.

Proof the whiskey and chewing gum kills the memory…

I didn’t feel sick or dirty. ManU complaining about players surrounding the ref? They’ve been doing it since the early 90s! Viva Robben, Viva Bayern Munchen!

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
