In the past, I have labelled myself a “jinx”, when it involves football teams I support, losing. This could be for making an off-the-wall comment, or even something as stupid as having my hair cut.

Whereas in the past, Leeds, Bath City or the England National Team would face the consequences of a curse I would unintentionally place on them; I have never been able to pass this bad luck onto teams I don’t like. Until now…

You may recall a post I made, last month, where I aired my annoyance and worries, about how well Bristol City had been doing.

Earlier today, the wonderful Leeds United beat the aforementioned Bristol-based football club. I was aware that they had trailed off a bit, and were no longer the world super powers, they were at the time of last month’s post. However, I hadn’t realised things were this bad…

Ouch. No win in five games – four of which are defeats. What is especially significant about this statistic, is that this poor run of form only started AFTER my blog, moaning about how well they were doing!

You could say that I am responsible for all those “L”s – although, if you’re a Bristol City hooligan, and are reading this (can football hooligans read?), then it was nothing to do with me.

Oh, and if anyone thinks that I have jinxed Leeds United’s promotion hopes, with this blog post, then remember – I have said it all along – Leeds will bottle the Top 2 automatic promotion places, before failing miserably in the playoffs.

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
