Apologies to Mr Jobs, but I have joined the dark side. After over two and a half years on a SIM-Only plan, with a now ancient iPhone 4, I decided enough was enough and it was time to get something for my money – a new phone. Today, I ditched O2 and joined Vodafone (something I said I would never do, in about 2002 when they sponsored Manchester United). The new handset I chose? A Samsung Galaxy S5.
I haven’t ditched Apple all together. I still have my iPad, which continues to remains one of my favourite toys, and when my laptop eventually dies, I think I’ll replace it with a Macbook Air too.
According to Luis Suarez, he didn’t bite Giorgio Chiellini. He claims to have slipped and accidently sunk his fangs into the Italian’s shoulder. A great excuse and I personally believe him. Just like Ryan Giggs. Giggsy didn’t commit adultery. I suspect he tripped, while naked, falling onto his sister-in-law, who was also in the nude, and lying on a bed.
I understand BT caused a bit of mayhem on the internet today. I bet the obnoxious and very annoying students won’t mention it on the BT TV ads.
Tonight was easily the best episode yet of the excellent Friday Night Dinner series.
The fact Channel 4 had to make an announcement that no foxes were harmed in the making of the episode, summed up why tonight’s installment was so great.
I do like the new Leeds United kit. It is traditional – an all white kit. In previous seasons, the home shirt was decorated with stripes, swirly things and stars. It was a mess and looked like it had been designed by primary school children using glitter, dried pasta and glue.
It’s just as shame that it will be worn by shit players.
On this website, you’ll find me blogging (almost) daily about everyday life, living in Bath, working with computers, and the occasional bit of football stuff thrown in.
