Boxing Day is traditionally a big event on the football calendar. However, due to the recent snow and freezing conditions, today’s match between Bath City and Newport County was unable to go ahead.

In an attempt to ensure City’s game against Forest Green Rovers, in just two days time, is playable, a number of Bath City supporters, myself included, crawled from the warmth of our beds and made our way to Twerton Park to clear snow from the pitch.

A few hours was spent with shovels and brushes and there is still more to do before Tuesday’s match. Hopefully Mother Nature, who caused this mess in the first place, will turn up the heat and get rid of some of the snow for us.

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
