I found this e-mail in my inbox this morning

This mail is confirmation that you have successfully renewed your subscription to Xbox Live 12 mo. Gold Membership. This renewal goes into effect on 19 May 2008. Here is a description of the service:

Having not used my Xbox Live account in over 3 months, and now a proud owner of a PlayStation 3, I wasn’t too keen in forking out £40 for a new 12 month membership for a service I won’t be using.

I rang Microsoft to speak to the big boss man. Unfortunately Bill was out the office, so I had to make do with his secretary. After much messing about with security questions, bank account details and discussing the weather (no, really); I eventually managed to get my subscription cancelled.

After all that, I don’t think they can take payment from my bank account anyway. My debit card expired last month and Micro$oft still have the old details. The lady I spoke insisted both cards were linked. Unless Mr. Gates has secret powers to access my bank account through the back door (which shouldn’t be ruled out – after all, it is Bill Gates), then they’re cut off at the source anyway. Suckers.

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
