It may be a bit late, but I have finally got round to blogging about the weekend.

Valentines Day, I went with Claire to watch Bath City play AFC Wimbledon in London. It may not be as romantic as Paris or Venice, but it was something we both wanted to do and had a really nice day.

It was my first visit to AFC Wimbledon’s Kingsmeadow ground and I was very impressed. The setup has all the makings of a football league club – something I am certain Wimbledon will one day become.

The home fans were some of the nicest supporters I have ever had the pleasure to meet and were equally very complementary of Bath City’s travelling fans. Meeting pleasant rival fans is one of the nicest things about non-league football.

The game ended in a 3-2 victory for AFC Wimbledon. Something I am a little disappointed about, as like every City fan (and a lot of Wimbledon supporters), I feel City deserved at least a draw. While saddened by the defeat, we left London full of optimism and in the knowledge that if City reproduce the same performance every week, the play offs will be more than just a dream.

I wish AFC Wimbledon all the best, and as it looks like City won’t do it, hope they finish as league champions. I would love to see them in the football league one day, and ideally beat, and relegate, the MK Dons, who stole the original Wimbledon’s league status.

Without the sign I would have thought it was Paulton Rovers…another team Bath City will be playing in the not so distant future!

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
