Bath and the surrounding areas went fully digital today. This means if little Doris down the road wishes to watch Corrie, she will need to buy herself a Freeview box.

Luckily I have such a contraption and got up extra early this morning to re-tune my box to see what channels would be made available to me (how sad).

While I was given all the usual stuff  (BBC1, Channel 4, Gay Rabbit), I was a tad disappointed to not have access to the likes of ITV4 and Sky Sports News. I guess that is what happens when you live in one of the lowest possible points of a city surrounded by hills. Even a TV transmitter given the full resources of the National Grid couldn’t produce a signal strong enough to bring the channel ‘Dave’ to my aerial.

I christened the Freeview box this evening by watching the Manchester United/Bayern Munich game. As you can tell by the result, I enjoyed what I saw!

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
