The football season is now well underway and in all honesty, it could have started a little better for Bath City. An encouraging opening day draw at Mansfield was soon followed up by home defeats to Wrexham and Barrow. Some fans are already panicking about the dreaded “second season syndrome”, while others have gone one step further and condemned us to relegation already.

3 games out of 46 played and we’re doomed! You’ve got to love football supporters. While disappointed by the recent defeats, I like to think I am somewhat more level-headed than the pessimists and am not booking Bath City’s place in The Blue Square Bet South for the 2012/13 season just yet. No, I like to give my team at least 4 games before I cast judgement.

Leeds fans are even better. This time last week, Leeds had lost to both Southampton and Middlesbrough and like at Twerton Park, the dreaded “R” word had been mentioned in the grounds of Elland Road. One week later, a 4-1 demolition of Hull City and a draw at West Ham has seen Leeds United already declared as champions. I’ve already got the Blue Nun out to celebrate.

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
