Before I get to the point of this blog post, I feel that I must make two factors very clear…

  • This is not a comical, light-hearted post.
  • Although it is serious, I am not residing at home, in self-isolation, worrying about all the bad things which could happen in the World.

I am simply considering the possibility, that this could happen…

The whole of the country has understandably gone COVID-mad. Nothing else seems to matter anymore.

It seems like the public, authorities and other workers are putting all their energy and concentration into keeping themselves and others healthy… as well as searching everywhere for Carex.

Generally, this is the correct thing to do. Stay safe. Look after yourself. Remain isolated.

With the public, police and health services very much distracted from ‘business as usual’, I do hope that we are not letting our guard down and leaving ourselves open to the threat of terrorism.

Granted, more people are staying at home, live entertainment and sport events have been cancelled, and many tourist hotspots closed – but, there are still mass gatherings, just look at those idiots queuing to get into Tesco.

Even if the public do see sense and stay indoors for now, what about after the outbreak? It may take weeks, it could be months, but this pandemic will end at some point, and the nation will return to normality.

As the country slowly recovers, coronavirus will remain prevalent in peoples’ minds for a long time.

With everyone letting their guard down by concentrating on COVID-19, are we as a nation putting ourselves at a greater risk of another terrorist attack?

I like to believe that we have enough specialist intelligence units, doing everything they can to identify threats, even during this global pandemic.

We have to maintain this reassurance, as we would become nervous wrecks and never sleep.

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
