I’m not one for making New Year’s Resolutions. However, there is one that I would like to make – to blog more. Ideally, every day.
I therefore thought I should start as I mean to go on and blog today.
Shhh… just don’t tell anyone that I wrote all this a day later and pre-dated the post!
These are my favourite type of crisp. Nik Naks Rib ‘N’ Saucy. Unfortunately, they are a little hard to obtain. You can buy multipacks of Nik Naks, but the packets don’t just contain my favourite flavour. One of the other flavours in the multipack is Scampi. That’s fish. Who makes or even likes fish crisps?
Due to this awful flavour contaminating my favourite brand of crisp, I have only been able to buy these as a special treat. Until now…
I have recently discovered another brand of crisp. Transform-A-Snack. Like Nik Naks, they are made by the great people at Golden Wonder. Also like Nik Naks, they have a very familiar and ‘saucy’ flavour.
These crisps can be bought in multipacks, without a fishy flavour in sight. What’s more, they’re cheaper too. Thank you, Golden Wonder!
Sorry for the lack of blog in ages. I know I have said this many a time, but I’ll try to blog more frequently in future, blah blah blah…
Anyway, today’s blog is about a dream I had last night. I dreamt that I was watching Sky Sports News.
In my dream, Leeds were playing Burton Albion – a small club, who have done well of late, winning numerous promotions from non-league, all the way to The Championship, where Leeds themselves play (sadly).
Burton were beating Leeds. As with all games covered by Sky, a pundit was reporting on the match – in this case, Charlie Nicholas had invaded my dream.
Charlie was furious. Furious at the fact Leeds were playing so badly and losing to Burton Albion.
The scary thing is that when Leeds eventually do play Burton, sometime during the next 9 months, my dream could well become a reality.
I know I shouldn’t like it, but I really love this mug. If whoever has me as their Secret Santa at work happens to be reading this, you could make me very happy…
You will remember a few weeks ago I blogged about a new brand of shampoo I was using. This shampoo contained such exotic ingredients as zinc and glacier water. At the time, I wondered what impact it would have on my hair.
So far, I haven’t noticed any difference. I haven’t grown great long blonde locks, nor has my hair fallen out. It keeps my hair clean and that’s all I can ask really. The difference with the shampoo is that it really, really, REALLY hurts my eyes. It is like washing my hair with acid.
I think it may be time to give up on the zinc shampoo and try something more appropriate for my sensitive pupils…
