There is a growing opinion with many that The Simpson’s is past it, South Park is dying while Family Guy is becoming top dog in the adult cartoon field. It seems this has really pissed off the South Park’s creators who made a double length episode all about Family Guy, just shows how popular it is huh?

The show not only has a sly dig at Family Guy and its creators but the whole freedom of speech act itself, following those Muslim cartoons in Holland the other month.

The two episodes are very entertaining, the parodies of Family Guy are very well done and the cameo appearance by Bart Simpson is truly excellent.

Well done to the shows creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker for two excellent episodes. A comeback against South Park from the Family Guy creators is inevitable, I’ll look forward to that!

Images are not the only type of file website owners and message board members try to steal from me, they often hotlink my audio and video files too. I’ve now solved that issue, every time an unauthorised domain downloads a media file they’ll get this message instead of the one requested!

What fun you can have with Microsoft Sam. :o)

It now looks like I am winning the war against MySpace users. I have finally sorted out how to deal with the bastards stealing images from my website and placing them onto their pages.

The original plan was simply to display a dead image when they steal one of mine but then thought up something far better and evil.

Every MySpace account which places one of my images directly onto their website (leaching direct from my server) will now get a massive black square where the original image should be. Now when I say massive I mean massive.

Your desktop resolution is more than likely 800×600 or 1024×786. This means that the maximum amount of screen space which can be displayed without the need to scroll up/down/left/right is either 800×600 or 1024×768 pixels. The black square has a resolution of 4000×4000 pixels!

As MySpace web pages rely heavily upon tables, placing an image of that size in one can seriously affect the appearance of the site.

In case you were wondering, what I am doing it is by no means illegal and is not a case of hacking. They chose to link to my images without permission (which in the website development world is very discourteous), they must face the consequences. The black square can easily be removed by the MySpace user, simply taking out the link to my image.

It is just my little way of stopping the bastards who are too cheap to find their own web space and steal other peoples. If you want to look at an example of “the black square” take a look here (about two thirds down the page). Hopefully though by the time you click the link the MySpace user may have figured out that there’s a fucking great black hole in her website and remove it.

Looks like I am in debt to Rob Hulse by 1 pence. Leeds drew with Reading 1-1. Very pleasing result, I’m not normally overjoyed by draws as I am the type of fan who demands victories. The manner in which Leeds drew though impressed me, scoring a much needed confidence boosting goal and easily being the better side.

I now hope they can take this form into the next three games and then into the play offs, joining Reading and Sheffield United in the Premier League.

The goal has come as such a relief to me along with all other Leeds fans and players. If you missed Rob Hulse’s excellent effort you can listen to a very atmospheric version here.

A shiny new penny to the Leeds player who scores a goal against Reading this afternoon. I won’t be holding my breath, the players have failed to find the back of the net in the last four games, what are the chances of scoring against the champions? Even Wayne Rooney has stopped putting bets on Robbie Blake to appear on the score sheet.

OK, OK, that was very pessimistic, keep the faith, you never know, the Reading players may be planning their holiday. C’mon Leeds.
