Regular visitors to my blog who bother to read the bits about Leeds United will have seen the numerous times where I have referred to club manager, Simon Grayson, as ‘a football God’ – don’t remember? See Psalm 1, Psalm 2, Psalm 3, Psalm 4, Psalm 5… heck, just check out the archives!
Despite Leeds throwing away a lead at the top of the table and tonight falling out of the automatic promotion places thanks to Millwall winning, I think Easter is the perfect time for Saint Grayson to get Leeds’ season back on track.
Easter is famous for our Lord, Jesus Christ, rising from the dead. Therefore, at this holy time, it is rather fitting for the football God to resurrect Leeds United and get them promoted. Wins against Swindon and Yeovil on Holy Saturday and Easter Monday respectively will do nicely.
