Came across a novelty Christmas record today, Is This The Way To Santa’s Grotto. This is unsurprisingly a parody of Tony Christie’s Amarillo song which was a big hit earlier in the year.

The song performed by Santa himself is extremely cheesy, festive and sure to annoy everyone after a couple of plays. I am sure it is already being piped out repeatedly by department stores across the country throughout their long festive opening hours. It is only a matter of time before the staff at BHS hang themselves in the lift shaft with tinsel.

I have downloaded the track from Napster and am only keeping it on my PC to be mean and annoy anyone who comes round by playing it on loop to them.

Here’s a quick sample of the tune, it is available to buy over the net as a WMA, alternatively you can purchase the single. There is also an album out called “Santa Sings” although if you spend good money on this you need therapy.

Anyone who hears this track and needs bringing back to normality should visit their local record store along with a prescription for “The Pogues – Fairytale of New York”.

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
