I couldn’t help but notice the news about the Euromillions lottery. As nobody has won it for a while the jackpot for next Friday has risen to £85million. This is a sickening amount of money which I think even greedy ManU defender Rio Ferdinand would have difficulty finding a use for.
I have never played this lottery before (my twice weekly play on the National is enough for me) but with the crazy amount of money at stake I thought it was worth a one off flutter. Kind of pointless really, as if I won £85mill on Friday, for someone like me it wouldn’t make a huge amount of difference to if I won £10mill on the National one. Either way I would be stinking rich.
Good luck to whoever enters and if I don’t win I hope an owner of some orphanage gets the money, either that or a extremely generous Leeds United fan who will give manager Kevin Blackwell the whole kitty to spend. :o) :o)

- Weekend Ramblings Of A Madman
I received an email yesterday afternoon from Sky Bet. Not being a regular gambler, I would normally mark such correspondence as ‘spam’, deleting it from my inbox. However, in this instance I opened it. Inside was some waffle about a new online game I could play on my iPad. Blah blah blah. I read on....
- An (un)eventful week
The final week of my Christmas/New Year break has been a rather uneventful one. With no football, thanks to the weather, I spent my Monday in the company of Sky Sports’ Jeff Stelling. I made the afternoon interesting by placing a huge £2.00 (yes, 200 pence) bet on a massive accumulator, which if correct, would have...
