I have calmed down a little from the excitement of last night. Needless to say I didn’t sleep very well, the adrenaline kept me awake long until the early hours of the morning. What a game though, one of the best results for Leeds United since I have supported them.

I have been on Cloud 9 all day, so much so that I haven’t even allowed myself to get annoyed by the latest cock up of Sven naming an unknown player in the England World Cup squad.

So the date is set, 21st May 2006, The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff against Watford for a chance to play with the football elite in The Premier League.

It is simply an amazing turnaround for Leeds United. Two years ago they were relegated from The Premiership and looked like they could face a future of consecutive relegations though the lower divisions or maybe even disappear for good.

All this has changed thanks to the manager Kevin Blackwell and chairman Ken Bates and whether Leeds win promotion or not I am so grateful to these two men for turning my football club around to a respectable and ambitious team.

As I blog the big day is only 12 days away. My applications for the match were put in the post this evening, Leeds have been allocated 33,000 seats so I have everything crossed that I will be successful in getting a ticket.

One final point, although it may have seemed a bit of a hyper blog last night I can categorically confirm that yesterday evening I was not drunk, on drugs or suffering from a mental health disorder.

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
