A brilliant episode of Dream Team on Sky One last night. Disturbed footballer Clyde Connelly had been having a hard time of it since is club Harchester United were relegated. His new boss was bullying him, he was falling out with team mates and turning to drinks and drugs. It all got too much for him and he dramatically killed himself by jumping from the top of the stadium after a fabulous performance for his club.

The thing that surprised me about the episode last night was that it was very graphic. It showed Connelly lying dead on the concrete floor in a massive pile of blood with bits of brain next to his mangled head! This was shown at 8pm justafter The Simpsons and before the watershed.

Now I wasn’t shocked or offended by this, but young children could easily have been watching and I don’t think this kind of material would be suitable for them. The Sky One announcer didn’t even give a warning before the start. I’m sure somebody with too much time on their hands will write a complaint although I think it should just be left alone. If you took things too seriously, you would always be complaining about stuff you see or hear on TV or radio.

Anyway, the episode was well produced and performed by all parties in which is a very good series. One of the few things on Sky One actually worth watching now that new Simpsons has become sh*t and Oliver Beene has ended.

I haven’t watched the series for too long (its been around since 1997), but what I have seen so far has been greatly entertaining and is miles better than the other popular Football Drama “Footballers’ Wives” (a fourth series starts in the New Year BTW!).

Moving on, a very annoying thing happened this evening. My TV which had recently been repaired and returned less than 2 weeks ago broke again! The same problem as before – On/Off switch is broken. I’ll have to give the repair shop a ring tomorrow, but I refuse to pay out again for the same works.

Televisions similar to mine are a lot cheaper now, so instead of paying another repair fee (if charged) I think I will go for a new, budget model in the January Sales. At least that will be brand new and come with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Its one major expense I really could do without. Maybe I should do what some sites do and have a “Paypal Donation” section so I can cheekily ask visitors to send me their hard earned cash!

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
