What a Saturday… what a Saturday! What times we live though. What laughs we had.

I bounced out of bed this morning, to read every football website and pour over every word. I just think this is magnificent. What happened to Manchester United yesterday? Hahaha!

If Rooney had just kept quiet the day before. If Ferguson had shown his superior opposition more respect. If the players didn’t think the league was won already…

Even Man Utd fans I know have been saying “Come on, let us have it” – and I will. You may win the treble, quadruple or whatever, but you were well beaten yesterday. Outclassed.

I still think they will win the league, but when Rio Ferdinand lifts the trophy in May, the victory will be more bitter than sweet, as everybody connected at that club will be in the knowledge that they were beaten – twice – by their biggest and greater rivals.

After Fabio Aurelio scored the third goal from a free kick Cristiano Ronaldo can only dream of, the ground emptied. The home stands at Old Trafford resembling Twerton Park on a Team Bath match day. Still, you can’t blame the fans – it’s a long way down the M6 back home to London.

My birthday cake made by Julie at work. I suggest she gives up IT and opens a cake shop. It’s a work of art.

Unfortunately we were unable to get a photo with the candles on. After they were lit, the room filled with smoke and they had to quickly be put out to prevent a fire alarm going off and greatly upsetting the hospital’s fire officer.

I bought one of these yesterday…

No, it’s not a robot from Star Wars, it is Nestle Dolce Gusto drinks machine. Using pods, it makes coffee, cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate, etc. More of less the closest thing you’ll get to Starbucks at home.

It’s really nice. The only problem is after tasting good coffee, I’ll never be able to drink this stuff at work again…

  • About Me

So you stumbled across my blog. No doubt after searching for something bizarre on Google. Before you hit that 'Back Button', why not stay and have a read for a few minutes?

If you are after a website which gives advice on how to hack an iPhone X, download the latest Steven Seagal movie, or view nudy ladies, you've come to the wrong place and may now press 'Back'.

However, if you would like a lifestyle blog, written by a 30-something chap, living in Bath (England), feast your eyes on this.

You won't discover how to copy PlayStation 4 games. What you will find is a blog, covering life in the West Country, the highs and lows of supporting two unsuccessful football teams, while sharing a house with a wife and rabbit.

All written by a man, somewhere on the sanity-scale between normal and eccentric.
